A tip for people who want to place predictions but aren't super familiar with football:

While any score is technically possible, scoring in football *most commonly* happens in increments of 3 points (for a field goal) or 7 points (6 for a touchdown and 1 for the "extra point" a team is allowed to try for after a TD).

Teams can miss extra points and teams can "go for two" (trying to get 2 extra points instead of 1 extra point after a TD) so the scores definitely can range outside of increments of 7 or 3, those are just the usual most common you see happen

20 - 17 is the most common score in NFL history.

more trivia for those interested:

Two years ago the Bengals had the worst record in the NFL (2 wins, 14 losses), have only made it to the Superbowl three times ever including this time, and have never won the Superbowl. Historically they suck and the fact they made it to the Superbowl after being so terrible lately is really amazing.

We do them at work and I can't remember what it's called, but it's where people pick what digits they think the quarter-ending scores will be, like "0 and 3" or "1 and 6" and ugh I wish I could remember what this was called lol
