Current working method to play shockwave games???

I'm sure this has been asked several times but I've tried every method I could find and nothing is working, I used to be able to get them to work 2 years ago but I was on a different computer

Getting really frustrated so figured I'd ask here

Any help would be greatly appreciated if I can get it working I wouldn't even mind sending you a tip haha, thanks

I've only been able to get shockwave games running by running the Oracle Virtual Machine with a 64- bit Windows and Pale Moon installed into that with an old shockwave also installed. Its a mess and the screen is smaller but it works

I just have no luck with the avatars now and they are the only game avatars I have left!

I tried following this guide but I got a problem where the loading animation would load, but the game (Attack of Slorgs) would never start. I tried restarting it many times as suggested, reinstalled Safari and Shockwave, but in the end what I did for it to work was the old Hannah and the Ice Caves trick.
If anyone get this problem as well, open this game: (you need an account to see links) and launch it. If you get a black screen saying something like "Sorry, this game is not running at the intended location", just restart until it loads. Then, when you get it to load, keep it open and open the game you're trying to play. It should work!

This guide still works for me!

Looks like this method uses Safari 5.1.7, just like the one listed above, but it uses Shockwave 10.1.3.018 instead of 10.2.0.023.

I'm not the person you tagged but I'm using the exact same setup on Windows 11 and it's working, should work on W10 as well.
