Wow they are absolutely crushing it with these comic style animations this year! The items have also been really generous so far too. Were just over a week in and already have a stamp, coin, book and an animated np wearable! It feels like they put legit thought into this year and its really nice ^-^

yall mentioned the comic format already but i'm loving it for this one too!! there's a good amount of detail for it also. i guess darigan citadel doesn't have pine/fir trees so you just gotta make do

OMG I totally forgot about the advent calendar... Looks like I'm off to a late start. Glad they have a little archive tho! Am I late to that too or is that new? They definitely took some great steps in the right direction for the animations this year! Keeping them simple, having a comic format rather than a cinematic look.
I do wish they were a little more creative but they are rendered beautifully. Animation is my passion(tm) but I'm sure for 31 days the budget is very limited. Much more efficient use of their time and money, huge improvement over last year.
