I do not hate them. The pastel is visually appealing and the outfit is kickass.

This is so fussy, but I wish they would have made the little 'hair' tufts just be feathers for the new color. Same with the tail. I want to love this so much because it looks SO nice with the chest feathers and what they were trying to do but it just falls flat and the feathers just feel goofy.

Same with the Phoenix outfit, it just sort of falls flat for me. I love what they were going for and wish it was executed a little better. It would have looked really cool if they did the more realistic feathers like they were going for with the Pastel.

The outfit has really cool vibes but... maybe it's just really weird on the very round birbs that pteri are? Like it doesn't remotely scream elegant phoenix to me (and it's definitely crosseyed lmao

I have mixed feelings about all the added feather texture for Pastel. I think it looks nice, but it feels a bit off art-style-wise. But yes, agree it's very nice to look at!

I quite like the pastel pteri, actually! I wish they'd toned down the texture on the head and wings just a smidge, but I think it looks great on the chest and body - makes it look very soft!

I think the outfit looks fine art/concept-wise, not really my style but it's cool. I agree with Houndoom though, the soft roundness of the Pteri seems a strange choice for it.

i like what they were going for with the outfit, but i think the concept would have worked better on a lenny maybe? like others have said here pteris are round and for some reason it just... seems weird with an outfit like that?

The colour could have been so nice but… the feather texture gives me the ick. Like ruined the whole vibe ;-;
