What are you angry about? [Petty edition]

I haven't driven for months because I just had surgery, and have an overall distaste for leaving my home. Have people completely forgotten how to drive???? Make executive decisions?? I went not even five miles to visit my mother. During my drive there, I almost got sideswiped twice, both by people big trucks/SUV's not looking and not signalling. Good thing I was aware and braked on time. On my drive back home, someone was turning around??? In a busy intersection?? and almost backed into me, I had to swerve into the left turn lane to avoid getting hit; thankfully there was no one in that lane.

Then...I am almost home. So. Close. I witness a car crash right in front of me. Someone turned left without looking at the middle turn lane for any cars. They drove into each other. Then....they just stare at each other. for like a minute. An ambulance was driving the other way, they must have saw because they just turned on their sirens. The crash barely made contact. They were both okay, I saw the whole thing. I did not stay, I think I was legally supposed to but I just noped out of there.

I'm angry that I've trained four people in my job this year and only one of them has worked out. The latest hire can't even manage to send in her invoice (she's currently 11 days late with it) - who doesn't want to get paid? it completely blows my mind but it's also so frustrating to invest time and energy in training someone who doesn't seem to care. I've been doing two people's work while looking after my dad who has been really unwell, and I just would like a little of my effort to be paid back. I've had meetings with this hire and sent her so many reminders to do her invoice and reply to work emails, but I may as well be chopped liver for all the good it's doing. I'm tired.

Honestly yes. Finally someone who agrees. I can’t stand Taylor Swift. She’s such a pick me girl it’s insane. I never understood why people are a fan of her.

I bought a new laptop last month and getting it was slow due to supply chain issues and shipping delays, but I've done my best to be patient. It is now lost in the mail and the tracking number doesn't pull up anything. <upside down emoji here>

In her defence she’s not writing new stuff about old relationships. The re-recordings are to regain ownership of her old music, and the extended lyrics (you need an account to see links) I like a few of her songs but I’m not a huge fan or anything, but it’s been wild seeing how much backlash she’s been getting over this.

People love songs about heartbreak - if she’s re-recording some songs on that theme that she already knows her fans like, and some of them have long unedited versions, it makes total sense to put them out as a bonus no?

My girlfriend let her sister move in after I said no... We're already taking care of her daughter for 5 months now because she dont have a place to stay. Ever since her sister moved in, her daughter has been being a downright bad doing whatever she wants. My girlfriend lets her use our cars and in the matter of two weeks they both broke down. They left her truck at Speedyway for too long and they towed it. Then waited 5 five days to get it out. Her sister is on drugs I found blood droplets in the bathroom, wondered why she stays in there for hours. My girlfriend just looks at me and shrugs her shoulders like what do you want me to do! Shes not paying anything to stay here and shes eating all our food without replacing it. So heres where petty comes in to play im going to empty out the fridges, cabinet, and deep freezer see how long it takes for her to move out. You have to make it their idea I guess....

On top of all this I live in one of the worst towns in Ohio. Its decent size not huge but reminds me of storys of Chicago and NYC
