im so tired today this day is dragging on... only 2 more days until i start my winter time off and it feels like im crawling there so slowly

For Christmas, I got Mum a pair of high end sports shoes that she wanted and picked out herself.

She got me... This.

Note that I have never, at any point, insinuated that I need or want this sort of thing.

(Yes, I do have some zits on my face, but not very overwhelmingly so. They are also obviously more distressing to Mum than me, given she's constantly complaining about my skin)

Today's edition is about drivers:

-When you see someone backing out of a parking space, DO NOT GO AROUND THEM.
-Do NOT interupt or cutoff a funeral procession
-STOP for emergency vehicles
-Stop texting while you're driving.
-When there are two right turn lanes, DO NOT make a wide turn in the far right turn lane.
-If you don't have a disability and are capable of walking, don't wait 20 minutes for a closer parking space. By the time you get it, you could've parked elsewhere in the parking lot and been inside already.

I had to come home to take a break. It's nutty out there, today (and it's only 11 am).

I feel like my anger issues have been getting worse over the past few months and I really don't like feeling like this.

I'm so tired of a friend of mine only ever being negative. She's had so, so many awesome, special opportunities. She's getting to travel the world because of school funding, yet there's only ever complaints coming from her lips about everything. Always adopting a "oh, woe is me" type of attitude. Makes it so difficult to get along with her.

Sick of my sibling being the favourite

Whole family around for christmas, she goes out to "buy an energy drink" - comes back stoned.
Tells everyone how broke she is and how she can't afford gas or groceries so she gets hundreds of dollars of vouchers for Christmas, I got a tshirt as my christmas present (its great but I feel like I should have gotten at least a little something more)
Parents paid for her gas, and now my parents are coming over they were going to hang out with me, but they're picking up my sister. Offered to pick me up and I really want to say don't bother. I don't want anything to do with her..

I kicked her out of living with us after I discovered her smoking inside (we were in a rental and could have been booted out if landlord had found out) and ever since then it always feels like she wants me to look bad

Bad sibling is such a mood for me. I won't even go into the chaos of my own bad sibling, but you have LOTS of sympathy for me for putting up with your own.

My mother took years to stop believing my sister's lies and indulging her self-centered chaos, but now she has nothing but regret for centering her life around trying to "fix" my sibling while ignoring me.

I hope your parents come to their senses sooner than mine did, but even if they don't, just try to let it go. You be you and those who appreciate you are the ones you return your affection to. Sometimes your real family is the ones you choose, not just the one you were born into.

Thank you, I needed this. I hope they stop indulging her self-destructive behaviour but I seriously doubt it. She's been babied for years because as soon as she doesn't get her way she goes self destructive.

i hate how many things want you to sign up for accounts. i got an email from a place we went asking for a review on tripadvisor, and i was like oh ok i'll do a quick one, it will be nice for the place. but AFTER you put all the info in they then tell you you need an account. sorry place i visited i aint gonna make an account
