I keep trying to get my pierogies. I used to get them from Wal*Mart and/or Publix. But haven't been able to find them at either location anymore. I REALLY want pierogies.

the note-taking app that i'm using to bullet journal doesn't let you view two pages side-by-side, like you can an actual notebook. the best i can do is set scrolling to horizontal rather than vertical to mimic page turning.

the part that had me frustrated was googling how to do that and seeing threads dating back years full of people wanting the same feature. and the official response every time being "we hear you and we're looking into it! " [radio silence]

People in the town I live in ... there rude as crap most of them. Cant go anywhere without being begged for money or other things. The city I live in used to be thriving but a lot of the big factory big companys moved out of the area. There's a lor of people living below the poverty levels. Rent is ridiculous right now for even crap apartments. Its the dr*g$ the same person will ask you on your way in to a store and ask you 2 minutes later when you walk out because they don't have a clue they already bothered you. Same people everyday flying signs.

One of my children was sent to school with "allergies" that has resulted in me being down two staff that now mysteriously have the same "allergies" aka a dry cough and sore throat. And even I have it now but because I'm down two staff, I have to fill in for them.

I drove to my boyfriends yesterday. Hear a noise. Sounds like flat tire noise. Me being me - is like “no way my fucking tires flat I just looked at it and it was fine”

Wake up this morning early to drive home for work - my tires flat. Goes to gas station really quick down the road to put air in it.
No air thing - it’s out of work.

Have to pull into pawn shop - to change my tire at 7 AM.
I’m wearing my outfit from last night > way too short skirt and tank top.
Thank the gods I have clothes in my car.

Change my tire and boss calls me. Boss asks “how do you have a flat you work from home?” (She’s not mad just teasing me)

I have the worst tire luck. This is the 12th tire I’ve changed since owning a car (the first tire with this car. The other 11 were on my solara)
I’ve changed 5 of those 12 in either strip club parking lots or pawn shops.

I’ve come to the conclusion I need to make enough money to have a driver who will just do all that shit for me, because 7 AM tire change when I just wanted a coffee? Wasn’t it.

I’ve also only been driving for like 3-5 years but have friends who have driven for like 15-20 who’ve never had a flat. Like??? Why me??? I don’t even drive often because I work from home

I’m also so used to tire issues that I have full sized spares - so I never have to ride on donuts. If you don’t have a full size spare I recommend getting one because god they are amazing.

But I will now be investing in a cigarette tire pump - just to have. Because I’m not running into the no air pump issue again

Also dealing with the "allergies or covid" yet again. SO's new job likes to have people work there when the jobs can be done 100% from home. They have trouble with employee retention. No wonder. I believe they did an RTO before my partner was hired on.

In general, I'm pretty over people being "over" with covid. Yeah yeah yeah it's been literal years now and you're still hearing about it and sick of it. SO WHAT it has caused me months long migraines lost my taste and smell i DONT WANT IT again ever so I will not shut up about it. It's one thing I guess if you're in a country with free healthcare.... well some are not. Please for one second don't think about yourself think about the long-haulers, disabled, and poverty stricken folk that will potentially lose everything if they get sick. Love how there is a variant going around getting lots of people sick again but who cares right?

I'm with you all with being frustrated with people being "over" COVID. People I love are immunocompromised, and Long COVID is nothing to fuck around with. I developed a Long-COVID type condition after getting pneumonia over a decade ago, and it still causes me problems and and flare-ups have fucked up the trajectory of my life several times over the years. I'm worry what Long-COVID proper would do to me, and I fear for everybody that this is only the beginning for many, many, many people.
