What are you angry about? [Petty edition]

I'm salty I didn't get a pay increase in our mid-year reviews :K

I did get promoted back in March which is cool but I'm still salty, I got promoted because my boss left and I took his responsibilities without them hiring a new person but since then another member of the team left and I took a chunk of their responsibilities too, and their house was absolutely not in order and it's been making me miserable having to clean up all their negligence

I'm also annoyed I haven't actually had my mid-year review (deadline was EOD yesterday), I just looked in ADP and confirmed that my payrate didn't change

You should put some applications out there; this company doesn't respect you at all.

My mom doesn't know how to just say "that sucks" and always just dives into solution mode, sometimes to the point of being condescending and omg she will not give it a rest.

And I know I should just learn not to vent petty complaints to her, but sometimes they just come up in conversation!

And on a related note, omg I hate dealing with any sort of bureaucratic anything. Don't tell me I have x days to submit something but then tell me it will take more than x days to confirm you've received it.

(Turns out they received the thing in question, but I didn't provide sufficient details, so when the follow up finally got processed it had been too long since the whole process started I now need to appeal to backdate it).
