I didn't realise a Pokemon Centre pop up stand was opening up here for a few days and have completely missed the opportunity to go ;n; I'm angry that I didn't make enough time to go to it! Would have been my first one ;O; Also we're having train strikes here which is annoying in it's self as we seem to have those frequently now (I get why) but boy does it make it an absolute hassle to get round London >_>

Ugh, I got my first jury duty summons and the timing of it could not be worse. I hardly go out much, but next month I actually have two events planned that I have been looking forward to all summer- they're really the only fun event I have to look forward to/planned right now. They are two shows on two consecutive nights- so of COURSE they summon me to go the jury duty the morning of the second show day. I don't want to have to go after being out late the night before, and before going out again the same night. If they had chosen literally ANY other day, I wouldn't be as mad about it. I don't want jury duty sandwiched between my two fun events. The real kicker is that one of my family members also got jury duty summons- but their date is for the week before, of course!

Even if they did not chose the worst day for me, it's also nearly impossible for me to go since I don't even have transportation. I don't have a job right now and their stipend would hardly cover the hour long Lyft trip it would take me to get there and back. I'm already stressed about having to pay for rides to and from the event I'm going to, I don't need another trip to plan out in the middle of all of that. I submitted a request to be excused, and I have all fingers crossed. Even if they deny it, hopefully I can at least reschedule it to be at a later date. I don't want jury duty ruining the two days I have been looking forward to.

Update: Woke up to an email that my request to be excused was accepted! That took way quicker than I expected to, such a huge weight lifted off my shoulders!

I was trying to fill out a long multi-page form and I was toward the end and I accidentally refreshed the page I was on and I was expecting to just lose that page, but none of it saved.

Related to some of my last two posts, I have to get some testing done, the results of which determine a some major decisions in my life, including if I have to give up more of the things I love and rethink my life trajectory.

Just found out they're really backed up and it'll be 6-8 weeks before I can get testing done, with additional time after for evaluations.

So I'm sort of in limbo until then.
