I could not handle that. My plants are my world. I cried because I lost a leaf of the 2 I have on my little prayer plant (plus one coming in). I had a cactus rot out on me and I cried. If something happens to multiple of them at once, I feel really bad for my family around me, because I will 100% lose it.

the little shits destroyed my beloved black stem alocasia and are now doing their best to take out my jewel orchid. No amount of spot attacking them with alcohol or neem oil has helped. I don't have a place to quarantine my infected plants indoors away from the others where they can still get any light, and I can't move them outside because the Texas sun will roast them into oblivion and ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh FUCK SPIDER MITES


I just came to the thread to grumble that it feels like every freaking department at work is bringing their requests for help to me and everything they need help on is The Most Urgent Thing for their department. I'm getting pulled in so many directions that I can't work on the most urgent stuff that actually is my direct responsibility.

I was changing the litter box and my garbage bag ripped. The damage didn't spread too far, but anything is too much. Somebody please fucking end me.

I have two (2) obligations with set times this week, a work event at a secondary location and a (phone) doctor's appointment. I've been aware of both all along and making sure they don't conflict, but at the last minute for No Goddamn Reason they're just drifting closer and closer together and while they still theoretically don't conflict I can just TELL they're going to.

The work is event is tomorrow, so I booked the doctor's appointment for Friday.

Got a call a few days ago saying they had to move the appointment up to tomorrow. I have to leave for the work thing at 2, so fine, the appointment's only 15 minutes so yes okay it can happen at 12:45, that's enough of a buffer.

And then today at like 8pm, well after the doctor's office closed, my boss was like "oh btw we have to be there an hour earlier than we normally would" so now I have to leave at 1, exactly as the appointment slot ends. WHY

As long as the doctor isn't at all late it'll be fine, but like is that likely? N o p e. And then even if the call's on time I also have to carpool with a coworker, who definitely won't be in over 15 minutes before we're leaving and therefore won't be there before my call, so now my day tomorrow is "hey Chantelle don't come near me I'm discussing private medical information but also the second I get off the phone we're diving into a car"
