I hate when I open an NC Archives cookie and then forget to spin the wheel the other two days.

This happens to me every time. I'm usually okay at remembering the second day, but I don't think I've successfully gotten the third spin in my life.

im on the autism spectrum and i just left a group chat of like 10 of my closer friends (we arent really close anymore especially from my end because ive been super busy for the last year with work) because one of the girls in there spent the last 3 hours making fun of this guy she went on a date with (who did some sexually inappropriate shit with her) as "autistic"

idk if this is petty but i just got really angry after it continued for like.... 3 hours and everyone was humouring along with it and acting like this creepy dude is what autistic people actually act like lol.

so i left its prob really petty but i dont even care i doubt they will notice bc i havent talked to a lot of them in months

I hate that stores on IG take so long to respond to me. No, I don't mean that they replay to my first message in the next 30 seconds. It was a simple query that was resolved in 3 messages, it could take us 5 minutes maximum but it took us all day. Anyway I will buy there because I want the product. Will this go wrong? Of course! And I'll complain here again-

No, I'm mad that every time I go to Walmart for basic stuff like toilet paper and paper towels, the total is always nearing $100. Why is everything so expensive?! And not only that, realizing when you get home that you forgot something, having to go back, and AGAIN spending $50. Lol.

Oh my fucking god. I spent almost seven hours writing the most excruciatingly effortful paper on theory today. Hated every minute of it and STRUGGLED through it.

As I finished and was formatting my reference section... my computer crashes out of absolutely nowhere.

Guess who didn't save, at any point, at all during this writing marathon?!
Guess what Microsoft Word *didn't* back up in the auto recovery file?

I haven't cried in at least several months and I legitimately cried for a solid half hour while I did everything and asked everyone what to do. No, the file legitimately no longer exists. Only half my references were backed up.


Mostly mad at myself but also very mad at technology and karma and the god I don't believe in.
Also I work the next 8 days straight so today was my actual only time to grind school out...yeah. My mental stability is a product of my own poor decisions.

I have a rare neurological disorder and it's so fucking hard to get people to invest in research on what happens as you age, it's all focused on childhood. My neurologist can confirm symptoms are related but that's about it. Saw him today and he said the way the research is fun "congratulations, you reached adulthood, good luck".

while i'm not a physician, i have to apologize on behalf of healthcare as a whole (especially if you're in the US). I work alongside physicians and many of them just do not have the ability to be clinically appropriate or compassionate (though there are fantastic ones, i don't mean to generalize). beyond that, my partner has a progressive neurological disease- if you need any form of support, i'm highly experienced in that capacity and would be happy to lend an ear if you need to vent *hugs*

I mean the way he said it was very critical of the system, just very sardonically. He's a specialist in my condition and a big advocate for research and is apologetic about the state of things, it's just the system is so much bigger than us. I used to sign up for research studies and I feel like I should get back to it, do my part.
