Good on you, it's hard making big changes like that! 5 pounds a week sounds challenging, especially when building muscle, but you've got a lot of motivation. I'm rooting for you! You'll be so proud when it's wedding time! Ū†ĹŪ≤™

(I've been on the fitness train too since July. Lost 20 lbs in 3.5 months, but I'm working on adjusting my diet/lifestyle in the long term. I'm going slow, but now that it's a habit, I'll get there eventually. )

@Sinnamoon ive been really bad at sticking to stuff long term. A year ago I was at my peak, and I started taking longer breaks, and stopped caring what I ate.

Now that Im in my 30s I need to get my shit together for the long term. So hopefully this is just the start for the rest of my life.
Ive been reading more books latetly and someone recommended I read the Subtle Art of not giving a Fuck. It was a common sense approach to life problems such as anxiety,
I think its a book ill read a couple more times but in situations when I get stressed out or start having anxiety/ panic attacks i reflect on that book.
Maybe because the humor in the name. But It was a good quick read. I recommend everyone read it if they have some down time.

    Cheers to life goals!

First of all, a compliment, you look great already.
I've been trying to lose weight recently too, need to stop using the quarantine excuse for my weight and working on it, but my effort so far has been only food related, havent been doing exercises because i dont know much about it (did pilates for several years when i was a teen but stopped like 6 years ago)

Trying to do some walks and a bit of weight lifting (only light stuff cause i dont have a setup and i'm afraid to hurt my back xD)

    Started at 85kg
    Now at 81.5kg

not much but i've been doing minimal effort, which is great because if i went hard for it i''d probably give up quickly.

Best of luck for you on your schedule, hope you manage to make it!
