That said, i honestly understand nothing about NFTs/Crypto/Blockchain etc. and have no idea what this means.. It feels late to the party, i thought this trend had passed? Didn't Neopets learn their lesson with the other thing? Cryptoquest i think it was?

I am also pretty naïve when it comes to this as well. Can someone please give a brief explanation for my NFT/Crypto/Blockchain illiterate self please?

This guy is for cryptocurrency which is ironic, because bitcoin mines also use thousands of computers. But I picked this cause I feel like it shows how kinda neutral he is and why hes against it and people might be more willing to listen to that.

I saw a good explanation of the criticisms around NFTs on tumblr a few months ago, but I'm having trouble finding it. I have a pretty busy day at work so I can't spend too much time digging it up, but I'll keep poking around here and there.

You might have timestamped this wrong... It jumps to the "environmental impact" section, which is actually a horrible argument against crypto/blockchain tech. The bank systems worldwide use much more power, while crypto solves a lot of major issues we have from the financial systems around the world. On top of this, blockchain technology is always being developed for the better. It'll use less and less power over time to perform transactions. At least for bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies...

Give us something about NFT's, please!

in knowing a bit more seems silly to me to pay money for an NFT of a random Neopet (from what seems to be a dying site). Seems Jumpstart is bandwagon jumping while also grasping at straws for income.
