This evening we are making apple crisp(from our Costco picked apples) and then pairing that with Andhra curry to use up some of the produce laying around.
Tomorrow I'm contemplating making dumplings or buns.

I'm not the best at feeding myself (barely have the time to cook, kinda too broke to eat out all the time), so I found this lady from my home country that delivers home-cooked meals in the city I live in. It's usually a combination of rice, beans, and either veggies, tofu, or chicken. I'm getting 4 each week and it's been great!
Before that, we needed to cook 3 or so times a week. Now we usually just cook once a week and usually it's a dish we enjoy. Yesterday we made this delicious (you need an account to see links) and I'm looking forward to eating it for many days in a row lol.
Today for dinner I had homemade mashed potatoes, grilled steak, roasted veggies (mushroom, carrot, cauliflower, zucchini), and an IPA. Was very good, love home cooked meals. Really wanting some home made soup soon, I love dishes with a bunch of random ingredients tossed in.
I am not one for Halloween goodies because sweets are a bit much for me/tend to make me sick, but if anyone is having some fun Halloween treats or plans to make some sort of spooky meal, do let us know

I've been picking at leftovers all day and I'm down to the stuff that doesn't taste very good and I've been waffling between struggling through it or trying something new. A lot of places have specials going on right now, so it seems like it would be a crime to miss it, but also a crime to waste the leftovers, even if they are lousy.
