I honestly didn't know a roster spot would be desirable over the points from a kicker. Is it just the flexibility or...?

Yeeee - my RBs are trash so having an extra roster spot to play with to pick up people who can become starters is very valuable for me. Week 1 I was able to snag Ty'son (Ravens RB ) by dropping my kicker (and then I didn't know what the ravens were gonna do so I couldn't drop either ty'son OR latavius and so I couldn't snag a kicker at all lmao).

Gotcha. I still feel like I'd like the security of the guarantee, but makes sense. I still haven't really figured out the strategy in adding/dropping players, so I haven't changed my roster much.

It's a cost/benefit choice there for sure! Kickers usually will get me 5-12 ish points most likely, and at least with week 1, I didn't need the points (was waiting to see if I needed to drop something to get a kicker, but by the end of sunday I knew I had the matchup), and week 2 even if I had the points it wouldn't have made the difference haha, so I just took the L.

Course this ended up sort've backfiring in our matchup cause I started Ty'Son this week and he got literal garbage sooooooooooooooooooo

Even though I already made it I find myself play with the (you need an account to see links) playoff machine trying different combinations of wins and losses to see all the possibilities. Really almost everybody in the league has a chance!

Also the site just has a bunch of other fun things to play with.
