I'm not sure where this belongs... so spam is as good as any where.

A couple months ago a Black Long Haired cat showed up in our neighborhood.

I always thought it was our neighbors because it mostly hung out around there house.

We have 3 cats and they have their own cat room. Their window is at the front of the house and is open most nights so they can get fresh air.
It leads to alot of neighborhood cats visiting our house.

This little cat was a little different. She used to sleep in the flower beds outside the window or on our door step.

We tried to get close to her with cat treats and wet food. But she would always bolt.
Yesterday the neighbor said she had a racoon getting under her house. Our friend has a live trap so we offered to help set it up.

Turns out the racoon was the black cat and it had been seeking shelter under their house. It was not their cat and they said they had never seen it before.

Having trapped ferral cats before this one was not showing any signs of being wild.
So I brought her into our guest room and let her out. She immediately wanted affection.
She's super skinny and has some swelling on her head from where she had been trying to get out of the trap.

She will be seeing the Vet in a couple days to scan for a microchip and have a check up done.


We have a neighborhood watch page so ill post her there looking for her owner. And if nothing we will be adding a new cat to the family.

She's so precious x)





Hopefully we can find her owners. Or she'll be living as an inside cat with us forever ahahah x).

She looks so cute! I love how smooth her fur looks haha. Kitties tend to take a little bit to warm up to each other, but when they do, you'll see them zooming along the house together.
