Bug with r100 items confirmed!

Players have noticed that r100 items like Emerald Eyrie Coin have never restocked in shops. People have written to the editorial about it, but TNT claimed that r100 items stocked in stores as intended, and that it was just a really rare event.

In 2004 you announced several Rarity 100 items (I have the dates of these items, as I have read the news archives several times). However, these items do not seem to be available. One was a coin, the Emerald Eyrie Coin, and the others appear to be Booktastic books (nine of them, to be exact). Is there a problem with these r100 items that’s preventing them from stocking? These items are released; it's just that r100 items stock very, very rarely, and are quite difficult to track down. We can doublecheck the system to make sure they are still being released, but as they have stocked before, we think it's simply the rarity, not a particular malfunction.

However, a reddit user (you need an account to see links) found that while r100s did stock, there was a bug that prevented any users from actually seeing the items in the shop (similar to how newbie accounts can't see r99 items).

It's now confirmed in this post (you need an account to see links) in which he find a r100 hidden in a shop's stock and manually enters the purchase URL to buy it.

Hopefully this motivates TNT to fix the issue, so that the Coin album avatar actually becomes obtainable again!

Oh woah, I don't browse the Reddit often so that's a huge surprise to me. Hopefully this gets noted in the next editorial especially since we really haven't been seeing the r100 items despite what was claimed.

Yeah, that guy has been exposing things about TNT for a while now lol. They were the one who also made the 3k pet list public too.

I think they also said something about the Golden Dubloon recently as well.

omg i hate that users need to break down the codes and teach tnt about their coding, it's just ridiculous, but hopefully they will fix it soon enough x.x

It's funny how they doesn't seem to have any sort of testing environment/test suite. Like this is an easy to find bug with a simple integration test/unit test.

Well that's not a surprise. TNT could be more transparent in their actions and not just respond with generics answers. Unfortunately their players base works more than the staff nowadays lol
