Ugh hi y’all I never post. But, several years I posted here in absolute distress cause I thought my shit had been wrecked for good. I almost didn’t make it through school and could barely pay my bills.
Anywho, I just wanted to share that things really ended up okay. I got a career teaching art, found a wonderful guy who is literally a dream come true, got loads of therapy because health insurance, have a huge supportive group of friends IRL, and BOUGHT A DAMN HOUSE. In a good area! Brand new. I never would’ve thought anything would be okay. Like ever. We’re even getting a puppy in a few weeks. I went through the lowest low, and thought nothing would ever be good again.
It’s insane to think I am where I am today. Thank you guys for being there for me years ago. I appreciate it more than y’all will know.

Awe, this is such a great update, congratulations!!! I am so happy for you that you have found comfort and security and that everything turned out so wonderfully!

OMG That's so inspiring!! congratulations on this huge life achievment! i've been facing some dark moments lately and seeing things like this fills me up with hope of better times! really happy for you

Thank you! I had a rough several years so it’s still like a weird dream that everything is okay.
We’re getting another golden retriever. I got one four years ago and he’s my best friend. When I moved he went from living with two other big dogs to being an only dog, and he’s acting really mopey. So when a local breeder said they had some puppies we decided to go for it.
