Thats brilliant news im so happy for you.
I haven't had either of mine yet, still waiting until my age bracket comes up. But i will be straight in that chair when it does

I have had Covid - got it at Christmas along with my mum & dad but thankfully we only got it mild.
The loss of taste and smell was so weird!!

But the most important thing is, even if we’re apart
I will always be with you

I'm glad to live in a country that's able to get everyone vaccinated (well, that's the goal and I think we're doing good!). I feel like things are getting better and brighter. We all just need to keep ourselves and others safe and keep at it! aiming for a "normal" summer 2022, haha.

PS Cinnamoroll did you have any side effects? my vaccinated arm is super stiff, it was hard to move it last night/today. But its worth it to keep safe

@(you need an account to see links) agreed! Still need to do hand hygiene and masks for sure. Personally i'd be broken if I got sick and gave it to any of the elderly I work with The good news is that we might not have to wear face shields at our facility soon! Once we're at 99-100% vaccination for all residents and staff, we can chuck em'. My residents say they don't remember what we look with without them on and I died a little inside :/

So far I don’t have any side effects other than I feel tired. But I’m almost always tired, so what’s new this could change tomorrow so we will see!

Congrats on getting poked! I'm hoping I'll be eligible for a shot soon, but seeing others get theirs in the meantime makes me happy.

So sad to hear about this @(you need an account to see links). Sending all my love and prayers your way.

I got my shots back in April. The first in the beginning of the month and the 2nd on the last day of April. I got the pFizer. Both shots made my under arm lymph nodes swell up, but they said that was just my body doing it's thang. It will never be near as bad as getting covid back in December and staying 7 days in the hospital on oxygen with Pnuemonia. The rest of my family got it and it was just like a bad cold for them, but it hit me pretty bad. I was on oxygen for 2 months. I was lucky enough to get convilesc (?) plasma from someone who had already beat covid and donated plasma.

I'm so happy to hear more people are eligible! My age bracket isn't right now, I got mine due to my job. Good job everyone

@(you need an account to see links) this is my first dose! Arm is still super stiff, hurts to type. Why is this vacciene so painful after ayyy.

@(you need an account to see links) I'm keeping you in my thoughts, that's so scary. And i'm angry for you on behalf of your government (and chinese government, heh). Now isn't the time to do stuff like that...

I've had my 2nd dose back in March. Mine was Pfizer.
I didn't have much side effects, just that I couldn't lift up my left arm (injected on my left arm).

There is hearsay that if your immune is strong, your body will have more side effects.
This got me worried for a bit.

Anyway, regardless vaccinated or not, stay safe everyone!

    Congratulations on getting vaccinated!

I got my first dose on 4/20, I get my second here pretty soon. I can’t wait for hot girl summer, I’m absolutely dying to spend time with my friends once we’re all fully vaccinated and the two week advisory has passed
