I finally got my covid-19 vaccination

I have a bleeding disorder that puts me at risk for internal bruising so I wasn't able to get vaccinated back in Feb. Had to get my Dr to pescribe me some medication to take beforehand to reduce risk and that took a solid 2 months to get back to me.

But I got the Moderna vacciene! Just feeling relieved. I work in LTC as a housekeeper and want to keep myself and others safe. I was just so relieved, I had to tell someone

I'm so happy that you finally got your vaccine!
We still have to take precautions but the peace of mind that vaccination gives us is incalculable. Little by little we will return to normality. ♥

I'm glad to live in a country that's able to get everyone vaccinated (well, that's the goal and I think we're doing good!). I feel like things are getting better and brighter. We all just need to keep ourselves and others safe and keep at it! aiming for a "normal" summer 2022, haha.

PS Cinnamoroll did you have any side effects? my vaccinated arm is super stiff, it was hard to move it last night/today. But its worth it to keep safe

Personally i'd be broken if I got sick and gave it to any of the elderly I work with The good news is that we might not have to wear face shields at our facility soon! Once we're at 99-100% vaccination for all residents and staff, we can chuck em'. My residents say they don't remember what we look with without them on and I died a little inside :/

Signed up for mine - due to get it on Monday! I am so excited ; A; I know that we're a long way from this being behind us, but I am excited to do everything I can to protect myself and my loved ones. Really hoping that I'll be able to see my family this summer!

That is awesome, congrats!! Did you get just the first shot? A bunch of my friends got Moderna and I am also signed up to get my first shot this weekend but they all told me the 2nd shot is terrible.

I got the second shot and it was pretty bad for me but I also have other health issues that made it slightly worse. It honestly felt like I had a bad case of the flu.

so happy to hear about everyones being vaccinated! here in brazil the situation is really bad, still on 60+ years and our amazing (100% ironic) president bad mouthed china so now they stopped exporting the ingredients to us, hopefully someday i'll get mine as well!
