Mine would be buying a car without test driving - I bought the same car model as the one I was hiring before except when I got into my newly-bought car only to realise there isn't a sixth gear. I actually entered reverse shift on the motorway by mistake, thinking it is the sixth gear But the car has closing in it's first 50k miles with no problem so I can't really complain

Writing out all the things I need to get done in a day and putting it where I can see it because I need to be an adult gosh darn it. Then seeing said list later on, thinking it's too much work, and not doing any of it.

Yeah getting a loan for a car that i really wanted and realizing i'd really like the money instead hahaha could've gone with a more modest option but NOPE.

I did a similar thing, I bought the sports car that I've dreamed of owning since I was 10 as soon as I got a proper job, with the excuse that I'd need the credit rating. I've often wondered what would have happened if I invested that 40k instead

I feel this! I work in a high pressure, quick environment and I've been with the company for 5 years now. Sometimes I deal with people that have been there way longer than me and still don't seem to know processes... or even worse make it super obvious that they didn't actually read the email I sent them... it can be so hard not to be a booger in the emails I send back. I always feel bad afterward because I'm like dear God they're going to think I'm the biggest b****. But I think I'm going to follow your lead and make it a point to be a nicer communicator!
