I would want to either be an upper middle class dog or also a bird of some sort. Crows are my favourite birds, and the other day I went hiking and saw two just riding some drafts and chilling. What a life.

Get to be a big apex animal who loves both its fruits veggies and meats. Get to be solitary when I want to be. I look big cute and cuddly but can have a mean streak when provoked. Also if winter is really bad I can hibernate and sleep it all away. What a life! Truly my spirit animal.

SAME!! I've given this a weird amount of thought lol and I always come back to wanting to be a grizzly living in Glacier National Park specifically. protected from hunters as well and damn it's so beautiful there! whenever I'm out hiking I always fantasize about just...slipping away and somehow staying in the woods forever.

in reality tho if we didn't get to pick, I'd likely be a bunny, cat, or something else small and flighty lol

I sometimes think about it.... To have not a care in the world, only when to eat, run or fight, to have no home, but lay your head to sleep in the grass where you stand... And if I wouldn't be a hare, then probably some animal who hibernates, like a badger <3 (animals who hibernate sometimes sleep together, like a bear and a badger for example. That sounds just so homey)
