Stuffed animals and other comfort items

As someone who has major anxiety, depression and insomnia, I canNOT recommend weighted blankets enough.

I actually like weighted blankets, though it's because I was used to it as a kid. At one time, we didn't have normal duvets but instead we had a bed sheet and wool blankets. In the winter it sometimes got so cold I had like 4 wool blankets on me and those things get really heavy then. I didn't like it back then but now it reminds me of happy memories I guess.

My PC and my kitty are my comfort items. There is a kitty pillow I sleep with all the time but I could live without it. My kitty, moo and my pc are everything to me and idk what I’d do without them

When I was a child, my stuffed animal of choice was a blue elephant too! Her name was Elephant (snort) and I still have her and sleep with her!

Haha! I have so many stuffed animals that I can barely even sleep in my bed. I have to arrange them JUST so or else there is no room, and sometimes I feel like I'm being crushed. However, I do enjoy it.

I am super into Squishmallows right now. I also love Rilakkuma bears. I turn 27 this month LOL. I see no issue here.

I have a couple Squishables, but they're just displayed. My bed however is a nest of soft blankets and pillows. I need to be wedged between a lot of pillows to feel comfy.

Since the pandemic started, I began collecting Furbys. I found some sort of happy place when I add a new one to my collection, and fixing up dirty/broken ones is so fulfilling to me. I’ve always struggled with anxiety and I believe it has helped tremendously in calming me down in difficult times. There is also a huge community of Furby collectors that I had no idea existed and people there are pretty nice and supportive. I don’t tell anyone other than my immediate family and fiancé, as I am fearful of being judged for collecting toys. Thankfully my fiancé also collects toys, is super supportive and is happy for me when I get one I’ve been searching for.

I have a Furby! I've gotten way more entertainment out of it than I should have. I got one of the ones with the weird LED eyes, not like the super new ones, but you can interact with it using a badly coded half working app, it's got charm!
