like, i type totally differently there bc i'm paranoid about being here haha

...still, there are probably plenty of little quirks in my typing style i'll slip up on without thinking about it

am i overthinking this?

I sometimes alter things I did on Neo just a little bit when I post about an achievement or buying NC or whatever, and I've lied about some small real life things such as my birthday, but I don't change my writing style. I don't think tnt is that smart to pick it up. I wouldn't worry about it

I agree with @(you need an account to see links) . I think it would be pretty hard to connect someone here to their neopets account just by writing style. Even if someone typed a certain way on both neo and ck, it could just be an imposter trying to get someone frozen lol. TNT has no way to actually connect a user based on this, but with how bad TNT is at their jobs, I can see them using it as an excuse.

i type way more...i guess, formally? on neopets than i do here

this is closer to how i type on...say...discord

like i'll be straight up honest: i struggle baaaad with anxiety and whatnot and i used to think everyone was out to get me even though i'm a total nobody, you know? and while i'm a lot better these days, some little quirks still linger, i guess. but that actually really does help, thank you!

I'm not smart enough to have anything in between "writing email to person who I want to give me a job" and "casual stream of conscious bullshit where i type as if i'm just rambling to myself", but I've been told I sound pretty neutral/indistinct, and also don't go on the boards on neopets much, so I think I'm okay. I understand the worry, though. I tried adding a couple of unique quirks to different places here and there, but I ended up just absorbing all of them to my natural habits.

I definitely have some idiosyncrasies to my writing and I worry about this from time to time. Less about TNT and more about unsavoury individuals who may lurk here (and not necessarily post).
