Man, I fell off the internet for a bit! My new job really takes a lot of computer time, so I run from the PC as soon as work is over half the time now lol.
I haven't been as dedicated to working out as I was, but I'm trying to pick it back up. I have been pretty smart about food though, so I'm still making progress toward my goal. I'm only about 7-8 pounds from my weight loss goal, then I'll be focusing on that muscle building and maintenance!

Fellow peloton-er here! Could definitely use other friends to spam high fives. My main sport is olympic lifting, so peloton is a good fun cardio event for me.
I usually do 30/45 minute rides with Olivia. Aka - 30 mins of HIIT lol.

I've been roughly following c25k after not running at all during 2020 (and then some) due to a combination of injury and lockdown. Progress is pretty slow so far, but it's something.

Progress is progress, great job! It looks like your hrt can hold heavy loads, which is amazing.
I know that feeling of restarting after an injury/etc. I had a procedure done in 2020 and the recovery period was quite long. So when my body was cleared to start again - restarting my activities was ROUGH.
So far so good(or at least I'm telling myself that!). I'm trying to remind myself that my old PRs should be motivation not a demotivator knowing how far I've "slipped". All that said, I'm ecstatic that my knee is fixed and squatting heavy is back on the table again lol. Glad this happened during the pandemic while things were closed up.
Comparing yourself to your "before" is exercise in despair. I try to compare myself to "just after". Thinking about how I used to be at my best just makes me miserable and brings about a sort of grief, but thinking about my worst and how far I've come, even if it's not as far as I would like and feels frustrating, it's still hopeful.

That is so true Kitty! I found it hard getting started again after my injury and I was always like "it was so easy to.do this before and now it's so hard". It's been quite discouraging. I'm trying to focus on not what I was doing before (ie amount of weight, sets , bike speed , resistance). I'm trying to focus on how I felt.after and how doing my workous make me feel.
Speaking of which I thought I would hold myself accountable and show what I had said I would do on the Prode board. I completed my first ride in like over a month and a half and I complete Kendall's 20 min Pride ride (+5 min warranty up and 5 min cool down). It was a fun ride with all LGBTQ2s+ artists ! It kicked my but for the first ride back but the endorphins have me feeling good! Just need to make riding a habit again
