This would be the perfect time for Jumpstart to maybe consider making some serious staffing changes to their Neopets teams. The fact that this is a "children's site" (or so they keep desperately telling themselves) and Tony P is the face of their customer service is truly a little bit horrifying to me. Every single move that they've made in the last two years has been a comedy of errors so cosmically stupid that I legitimately do not understand what their endgame is with this dumb site.

The goddamn funny part is that they could make it ok to trade between onsite currencies and even currencies from other sites and fix a lot of these issues. But no, keep the same old terrible staff and treat people like dirt over trying to enjoy the site. It's gross. If it weren't for the fact that neo is so populate (yet dying) because of nostalgic reasons it would never be worth anyone's time. Fix security issues, hire new staff and focus on an effing plot for once in their miserable lives and they could save the site and bring in new and old players. I'll just pretend like Tony P. as usual with those screens didn't trigger my inner neo rage

It bothers me so much TNT and PC and this article keeps using the word "illegal", this isn't illegal. Are you gonna come arrest me when you found out I bought an UC. There wouldn't be enough room in jails for everyone who has done that I'm sure. If their wasn't 'black market' trading I bet there wouldn't be many UCs in circulation. Like thousands have said TNT just needs to implement some form of an unconverter - via NC straight up cash whatever, they'd be making a lot of money so why not.

That Youtuber Pet Simmer Julie would do a much better job than Polygon if she were to investigate the black market or point out everything wrong with Neopets today... the latter might be good for exposure, maybe (her reach is sadly not that wide). Neopets would have no control over this after all.
