I remember watching Rugrats thinking the parents were like 40s or 50s.. turns out they were in their 30s and nothing hit harder than that.

I want to like it, but something about the new 3D style just kind of kills that warm & fuzzy nostalgia vibe.

I do like how the designs, despite being 3D, do look pretty faithful to the originals. It does lose some charm, though.
Klasky Csupo had a really distinct style with its animation that's hard to replicate in 3D.
I'll definitely give it a chance! Some reboots have proven to be awesome (as you can tell, love the new She-Ra) while others, not so much...(Powerpuff Girls 2016...)

Ah, this I have conflicting feelings about. While it's my favourite classic nicktoon I have to say. Not a fan of the 3D style. I prefer my animation to be 2D. It's not as ugly as early 3D shows were (Come at me, Jimmy Neutron was fucking amazing as a show and ahead of it's time, but you can't deny the animation is ugly as sin. But shockingly it didn't work too well in 2D either given the timmy jimmy power hour. Not ugly in 2d but it didn't feel right either. Either way, I digress.)

I'm going to be giving this a real solid effort to watch rather than poo poo it just for the animation. It'd be ideal if all the voice actors could return but I understand quite a few of them are no longer living sadly.
