Ooohh I used to love Rugrats . Especially the PS1 games!

I'm not sure it needs a reboot though; call me cynical, but I can't see it ever living up to the original.

Hopefully it'll prove me wrong, but generally I'd prefer it if franchises were ended (and stayed ended) on a high and were fondly remembered, rather than being milked for all they're worth.

I loved Rugrats growing up! but uhg could we just leave "classics" alone. It just ruins the nostalgia 99.5% of the time. Just come up with something new and fresh please.

I wonder if this version will change any of the dynamics to more align with modern society. Watching Rugrats as an adult now (or hearing my children watch it), those parents were fucking terrible.

I just.. am not a fan of the CG animation. It looks well enough on its own, but Ill always prefer 2D. be it nostalgia or whatever it just looks nice to me. Generally also dislike cash crop properties being reused and "revamped" years later in this medium

The animation style will probably be hard for me (us?) to get over, especially if we have a nostalgic value tied to the show.

I'll still watch at least the first 3 episodes though.
