For the purposes of this thread there isn't gonna be a hard and fast rule on what "short" means. In general, use your judgement, but otherwise I'm open to pretty much anything here.
Okay, nobody else posted anything so I'm just gonna pray it's been long enough to not attach to the first post, but ths is what inspired me to make this thread.
Awe! Love feel good shorts that leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy after watching them! Thank you for sharing this.
So far I've watch both versions of this, the OG and the Fred H. Music one, and WOW, Fred is a really fantastic composer/musician.
Here are two feel goods that I like to rewatch from time to time ^^
Rollin Wild is one of the funniest Ive seen, but it certainly is on the short side, so may be cutting it a tad close.
@(you need an account to see links) – god, The Present always makes me tear up a little. I first read the comic it's based on when I was struggling with feeling shitty about my own disabilities (nothing as life-altering as a limb difference) and it really hit me. I can't find the English version in good quality, just the original Portuguese, but I know we have some speakers here, so I'll share it.

Another one that always makes me a little teary is Kiwi.
@(you need an account to see links) Rollin’ Wild was hilarious! I cackled.
I just realized the man in the wheelchair in Ripple is the same man who bought the cake for the boy! So the story came full circle. The boy grew up and unknowingly bought a cake for his birthday.
@(you need an account to see links) Kiwi was so inspiring! That even made me a little teary. I love heartwarming short films, and a couple famous ones which come to mind are (you need an account to see links) and (you need an account to see links).
My favorite short film would have to be Penguins of Madagascar Christmas Caper. I was a kid when it came out in 2005, I remember having it on DVD and showing it to EVERYONE I knew. As much as I love emotional short films with a deep story or moral, this isn't one of those. This one is just so silly and makes me laugh.

kittyray- Its amazing how impactful these creators are, and how much emotion they can pull from you in a few short moments. Likewise The Present popped up in a time when it was very much needed and got some good cries out. I hope you are feeling better these days!
Awe, Kiwi is really sweet. Thought I made it without getting choked up but that little happy tear at the end snagged me up. Sitting here sniffling :’)
Sephora - YES! There are a few more of the Rollin Wild shorts on their YT, all equally funny! ^^
Oh man, I was not ready for Lava this morning. A small happy tear from Kiwi is now a big old sob. Ahhhhh haha!
This one is a childhood favorite. Anyone remember the shorts before the Pixar movies? Like the cute little old man playing chess vs himself?

@(you need an account to see links) Yes! I love the shorts before movies. They actually played Lava before Inside Out, and Bao before Incredibles II. That's where I saw them for the first time and I think I cried in the theater when they played Lava. The old man playing chess sounds familiar. I will have to watch them again to jog my memory! I'll be sure to check out Rollin Wild.
