I didn’t know that about the symphonies. That’s really fascinating if so! I need to listen to an no rven number!!
It’s weird how we can do one but not another. I can play a little piano and some guitar. I teach myself though through YouTube and thankfully still being able to read music.

Hands down my favorite classical piece is Moonlight Sonata, it has been for years and I just adore it. I've not found a version that I've not liked before. This is a YT channel that I REALLY enjoy watching 'cause of the note display and the mix of both classical and current songs.

I used to play the flute, but stopped after high school, same with the piano.

A Mozart junkie. I ♥ . If you have never seen the movie Amadeus, find it, watch it, and enjoy it. It's largely fictionalized, but still brilliant.

Lacrimosa still moves me to tears.
@(you need an account to see links) shares my #1 fave with the beautiful and timeless and widely varied Beethoven Sonata #14 Moonlight.

This is a piece I only recently learned the name to, actually, by hunting it down. A bit of it is heard during a pivotal scene in one of my old favorite movies (despite not staying too true to the original material) Interview with the Vampire, played at a different speed than the composer, Haydn, intended - Sonata in E Flat. It has a rather similar sound at the beginning to Moonlight Sonata.

(This artist replicates the way Lestat plays it in the film, which I love, so that's why I share this version.)

All the variations! I love them all! It's just so soothing and wonderful. Also Interview with a Vampire good choice love it as well.

I think I've heard of it before, but never had the chance to watch it. I'll definitely check it out! perfect timing, too, since I have a day off this week and needed something to do :eyes:

I adore classical music, love this thread! So much goodness to listen to.
Piano just captivates me, I love watching Rosseau play, especially in this song. The dexterity is unreal, never mind the gorgeous song *___*
