I just got kicked off Subeta today because I was printing money too brazenly. I feel like it's time for me to turn a new page and acknowledge that writing the scripts was way more fun than anything on the website.

I mean, the funny thing is that I had been doing so for months (at least 6) before they saw fit to freeze my account. Once I even submitted a game score that was an order of magnitude greater than what was possible (Gravedigger) and I filed a bug report to get the obviously fake score removed from the high score boards. They totally accepted that it was their problem -- for at least 2 months.

I have great nostalgia for early-2000s web design, which I think is the only thing keeping me tied to game sites at all. Besides that, I tend to go for RPGs (The Outer Worlds was the last video game I finished and I liked it a lot) and I'm a programmer in real life as well. I'm down to work on scripts for other websites, but don't expect me to write production-quality code all the time.

I came across a list of early 2000's websites the other day and it made me so nostalgic for sites I wouldn't even have remembered otherwise! Weren't those the days!

Thanks for the hearty welcome, everyone! I've been pretty busy at work (and playing Genshin Impact...) so unfortunately haven't been very active. Am I allowed to link my GitHub now? What are the qualifications for that?

I don't think there's a rule against linking to your personal github, just keep in mind it removes a step of privacy (or several if it's linked to professional social media accounts). I made a ck-specific github account to share and work on relevant projects, so that's an option you could do. For short scripts a lot of people just share directly in-forum with the [CODE] tags.
