Where to find large background files now that flash is gone?

I love the art of some neopet backgrounds and it's difficult to find the backgrounds HQ and large. I used /~Hawiku for a while but this is gone because of the flash shutdown, none of the SWF files work anymore even with a designated SWF viewing program. I tried a workaround by using DTI and selecting an invisible pet, but there is no way to get a good quality large version of a background. Does anyone have any suggestions around this? I love using the large files for shop and userlookup backgrounds!

I have Flash Player from CS6 and I'm still able to play them using that (I get the files from DTI), but not sure how easy it would be to get hands on that.

You can pull the 'svg' from the new DTI website! (you need an account to see links)

I am using Safari, but I don't imagine this would be much different in other browsers?

First you search the BG you want to use, for this I used stunning moon view.
Get to this page where you preview the BG (its here for Stunning and my example (you need an account to see links)

You are going to open up Inspect Element (right click, inspect)

Next you are going to click on 'Network' and then click on 'Image' in the row beneath it. Now refresh the page!

Once you refresh you will see something similar to this:

Now you will click through the images on the left hand side until you come to your background. Right click and open in a new tab!

All set! For stunning its this:

That was my attempt at clear forest sky BG and it left me with this url:

Some backgrounds though, don't seem to want to show up. Forest Fog for example is built of layers. T.T
So unfortunately this doesn't seem to work for all of them?

You can still view the .swfs from DTI if you download the Flash Debugger Tool from adobe. Search google for "flash debugger" and on DTI hit "SWF Links" on the left hand side, then find the one you want and right click it and choose "save link as". Drag the .swf into the Flash debugger. Maximize the window to get a bigger BG and print screen that (and enjoy the art errors or workarounds outside the boundary of the image lol). You can also go View > Zoom In and get even closer print screens to stitch together in photoshop.

Gonna bump this thread because I found a (minor) solution for us non-safari users. (I can't figure out how to extract the image with inspect, lol)

/~hawiku still works - here's what you wanna do.

Find the background you like, just right-click the image, open in new tab, and rename it from /4.png to /7.png.

    ie. for Haunted Sky Background:
(you need an account to see links) is the default

Just change that little /4.png to (you need an account to see links)

It should give you the biggest .png available.
(I have no idea why clraik's safe search seems to dislike these links, but they're hosted on neopets themself so... lol)
