Customization stuck loading screen work around!

One of the many customization issues we have right now is the dreaded �Loading Cloud Jubjub�. What happens for some users is the Cloud Jubjub gets stuck on loading and prevents you from being able to further customize your pet. While browsing the NCC this morning I've found that a user has put together a petpage (found (you need an account to see links)) on how to disable the dreaded Jub! I�ve listed the instructions below as well for quick viewing. Its rather clever and easy to follow. It utilizes the inspect element tool and is pretty straightforward to follow. There is also a more permanent fix listed if you use stylebot.

How to get pass the loading screen with the help of inspect element (computer)
If your customization screen seemed to be stuck at loading forever, you can use inspect element and follow the steps below. Only do this if the loading screen is stuck for more than a minute. Just give it some time to load first before you resort to doing the steps below.
This tip may not work with huge closets but you can try. My closet has around 700 items at most and it loads.

in FF Browser

1. Right Click and select Inspect Element




2. Click the "Pick Element" Button.




3. Click anywhere on the loading page screen (EXCEPT the cloud jubjub) to select the element with the div id "npcma_loader"




4. After selecting the element with the div id "npcma_loader", right click on the selection and click "Delete Node".




5. You can now customize and save your outfits!

(some items don't show up when tried on but when you save the outfit, it will reflect on your pet's static image (except for unconverted pets)




in Chrome

1. Right Click and select Inspect

Mike suggests to use Stylebot as a permanent fix!

Fun Fact- the guy who owns SpeakToManager now owns IAmANuisance, the cloud jubjub. Just noticed this recently when checking out his pets.

It feels so hit or miss right now, never know what issues are going to pop up when trying to customize. Luckily there are some smart folks here and on Neo that know how to do these workarounds to save us, haha ^^

Im going to add to this a little bit today after facing some more issues with customizing. I have been having the loading Jub issue and got that squared away. Now the closet is gone on desktop and nothing loads at all on tablet/mobile. Fun times.

Usually I'd say that there is no point, they don't listen, but with how broken customizing is right now, we don't have much else to go on.

CUSTOMIZATION NEWS: We've made a temporary improvement to closets! Closets containing large numbers of wearables will now be given up to 60 seconds to load before timing out. We're working hard to fully optimize the closet, and this isn't a final fix; we'll be continuing to roll out larger improvements over time. Thanks to everyone who submitted closet data for last month's survey, and thanks for your patience as we continue to work on this issue!

(As a quick reminder, we recommend keeping no more than 650 items in your closet at a time if you're facing loading issues. To optimize load times, visit Preferences and make sure "Closet Limit" is unchecked.)

Well, looks like the survey has been taken into consideration! Hopefully this fix is no longer needed and that it will time out before it gets stuck. Though this sounds a lot like it will be an issue of refreshing over and over hoping that it /finally/ allows you to customize. Heres to hoping this helps though.
