I voted for the Sea Glass today, it just looked nice? Its a shame that the 18th won when everyone wanted the 25th.

Meanwhile they probably have bets placed in the office on who's shitty animation will win so someone did that on purpose and rigged the vote over some 20$ wager.

yeah it's funny you mention that, I've been thinking the same thing. First graphics for the event all had "Best of Year 21" all over them and now it's all updated to "Year 22". I swear I think someone got the Neopets year mixed up with the actual calendar year and then went back and fixed it. That or I'm just having a mandela effect moment.

edit - yeah there definitely is some old Neopies art from last year getting recycled in places lmao. Someone posted this screencap for today's category in a Neopets FB group.
