I wouldn't overthink it.
If you really want to spend the money... I would make sure the payment came from two different sources and the accounts were from two different IPs, just to be safe. I have no idea if they have rules about buying premium for a "side account".

I've known people who have done it on official sides without issue and without letting it sit on the side but your mileage may vary. Are you planning to do it on a side or a shell/unofficial secondary main? Also if you are considering charge backing on that second account I would think its almost a guaranteed trip to ice land but I don't think that is what you're planning on doing.

Edit: After further research it appears that technically having premium on a side is against the rules, but I've met a number of people who've broken it without issue.

It would probably be cheaper to buy Faerie Quest Cookies and get lucky with getting a FFQ, if the color is available through FFQ. When I was using them to train I wound up getting a bunch lol

On that note, don't forget that grey faeries can also award the FFQ. Some people don't realize that and don't care about stats abandoning it, when it could have given them the color they desired.

I'd be using it on a secondary main, not really a shell

Faerie quest cookies are a good idea! I am training a battledome pet at the moment so it would be beneficial regardless
