The new layout is juvenile but some pages like bank and inventory actually look nicer so I'm hopeful. I just don't understand why they wouldn't display your pet's customization on every page since don't they want people to buy NC? I wonder if site themes will be retired like key quest tokens.

I have a feeling the 25% of NC wearables needing a redesign are showers and biology effects and I'm scared they're going to butcher some pops.

The Neohomes 3.0 sounds so far into the future that I don't think they will retire Classic and 2.0 anytime soon. To my knowledge, Neohomes are not the most popular or most used feature and would be further down the priority list.

I actually think they are just going to delete neohomes and stuff every item back into our inventories. But maybe I understood that wrong....

I wish they would tell us what items they are having problems with. I'm having anxiety from not knowing which items will potentially be ruined and if it will affect my pets' looks

I'm equal parts hopeful (might be the sleep deprivation talking) and equal parts scared for my pixel children's lives (here's the rationale). I think my hope comes from the na�ve idea that maybe, just maybe, with the site moved over to an easier to use system, we'll finally start getting more content; plots, contests, new games, updated games, new lands, etc. I'll never get over the fact that they can't update some of the old images on the news page because the whole site crashes. It's kind of humorous, but big oof. This thing is literally being held together by bubblegum and string and has been for years. Some divine entity must be playing because I don't know how she still runs.

On the flipside... big yike... very, very big yike. They've proven to not have the resources to pull off small tasks, much less an entire rollover. I feel like we're heading into the dark ages; like the pound shutdown but sitewide. It's going to be one whole mess and I will seriously eat my left shoe if they can pull this off with minimal damage.

Also as a biased NC slave my biggest complaint is those redraws??? Um??? I essentially paid for something that looks a certain way so like, don't change it??? wtf

Edit: I just want to add,
as scary as this is and as shitty as it's probably going to be, at least we still have the site. They could have easily closed up shop. As much as I hate the bigwigs, I'm sure they're putting in some cash and risking a lot here. If they have hope for the future of Neopets, I do too. I'm just grateful the ship still sails, but god pray they battened down the hatches because it's going to be a stormy ride.

The only good thing from that news for me would be the possible new plot. Even though we would not know when it will come out. Other than that, everything else feels meh.

Having to use neopets beta look permanently is yucks. *sigh*

I hate the beta and it doesn't even have the site themes I love the most.
Many pages of the site that still use flash aren't even converted yet.
This is gonna be pure trash. Why do they hate us so?

I'm still mostly annoyed that the home screen with your pets doesn't include their backgrounds. They are the only thing I care about when customizing.

Like I am familiar with how an Agile rollout works, and I DO know they can't do everything at once. But why couldn't they prioritize my thing? *poodle emoji x100*

I am grateful for this video. I think it's a good update to the answers they've previously given in the Editorial.
