New updates on Neopets Youtube Channel - Updates, Winter Site Events, and Merch

Neopets just released a new video on their Youtube Channel. Thought I would help summarize the main points for those too lazy to watch the video.

Site updates

• Exciting new revamps to the beta including inventory, bank, and new logged out homepage with all new login/signup flows.

Winter events

• Gift of NC (Nov 27-Jan 4), Advent Calendar, Stocking Spectacular, and "some other exciting releases".

Update to credit card processes

• Recently had to update our credit card processors - Appreciate all your patience and our new one is ready to go.

New Merch

Mobile Site:

• Plan is to release content updates every 2 weeks that have bug fixes, dailies, and other updates.
• Also working on larger features.
• We have new content release coming out with some bug fixes and dailies.
• The two next main features that we will be working on are inventory and some premium features.

SDCC

• We are missing SDCC so much this year .
• We do have a ComicCon surprise for you.
• We are thrilled to announce that we will be releasing new merch alongside the ComicCon@Home launch.
• Thanks fans for attending SDCC in the past! Here's a montage.

Merch

• Teamed up with WYP Jewelry to create an amazing collection of necklaces featuring the Kougra, Kacheek and Shoyru.
• Shoutout to Kuitsuku, the amazing artist who inspired the Shoyru piece for this collection.

EDITED: Guys, I'm a little bit stupid. The Video on "Updates and Merch" was released 4 months ago but somehow I read it as 4 hours ago. The "Winter Site Events and Merch" is the one that's released today. I also added more pictures of the winter themed pins.

Also really looking forward to the inventory updates. Our inventory has been in need of an overhaul for ages now, hoping that they don’t screw this one up.
Wonder what the ‘some other exciting releases’ will be? Guess its overly optimistic to hope for DD or GMC.

thanks! i think it'll be interesting to see which channels they ramp up on in introducing new features. youtube is not an obvious choice imo compared to other social media platforms, but the longform format does give more context (and puts a face!) on their new initiatives.

Yes I know, right, I think that the Neopets pins are adorable! I really like the colors and gold accents on the Christmas Uni!
Daily Dare would be so nice - I don't have the avatar for that one yet. But I agree it might be too optimistic given the Flash conversion and everyone having problems with the grey box on Flash games nowadays...

I think they also provided some news on their Twitter and Instagram page! Thanks for reminding me to check those, apparently they're giving out a free limited edition Snowickle Pin for every $95 Neopets merchandise purchase on WYP. There's only a 100 of those, so "while stocks last".. lol.

Honestly, I was contemplating it haha, and still am. Kind of annoyed they made the qualification of spending $95 or more though. They make enough from NC as is, now they're getting greedy lol.
