I was happy to just take care of my and other people's Ryus in hopes of getting new backgrounds but the fact that Ryus can evolve is really exciting and creative

Congrats on being ck's first ryu evo! She looks a lot like a serperior (which is totally lit)
I'm also extremely curious to see all the branching evos. I'm patient though, and it'll come soon enough (since thanks to everyone mine is always taken care of whenever I check on him

and I do take a look on eveyone else's when I'm reading any thread)

Is luck based on if I take care of my own Ryu or other people's?

Often I find my Ryu already has full hearts, so I can only catch mine in needing of poop scooping and feeding once in a while, but I have been surfing boards and taking care of other Ryu often.

I'm the exact opposite. Mine's always fed it seems.

Almost all the time I log on my Ryu already has its poop cleaned and hearts full.

Do I necessarily have to be cleaning my own Ryu's poop to ensure it's not neglected?

I assumed that if my Ryu isn't at 0 hearts it means it isn't neglected.

Yep! If your Ryugotchi hasn't been left without hearts, then you're in good shape.

Especially the last day, I haven't seen mine with anything less than full hearts. Haven't really scooped anyone else's poop either.
