Yep, was expecting this.. But glad to see the login page is alright, except for a few things that need to be tweaked like that "sign up" button.

Just tried it for myself - EVERYTHING is merch/nc mall, how is this possible. It's like watching a youtube video consisting only of plugs.

God why...... I really hate the chunkiness of it (I mean I know it's for mobile friendly and ya gotta have those big buttons) but the login box not being centered, sign-up not fitting the fucking button, and the blatant shoving of merch down your throat really doesn't look good. It feels like the devs were forced into making some ham fisted advertisement splash page by IDK JS? board members who are now only trying to wring what cash they can out of Neopets. It breaks my heart.

PSA to neopets devs, media queries are a thing? You don’t need the buttons to be 500px wide on desktop resolutions? WTF??

Is it just me, or does it all look somewhat fuzzy?

I like that they kept it kind of similar to the old design (though I guess how different can login pages really BE). Kinda funky and true to Neopets at its core, complete with the barrage of merch adverts.

Agree that new home page is pretty awful, just merch advertisement and no indication of what it is, but at least the login screen is nice.

I feel like the Hot Topic Merch would be more exciting if it were slightly earlier in its transition from being the Alternative Kid Store to being the Pop Culture Store (which I have spent way too much time reading about), but now I kind of just associate Hot Topic with the slow, ongoing death of malls. That said, the rainbow pet one uses some older art and I'm tempted to get it. Wish the lineart one also used old art!

Okay I hate the login page and the home page. IT'S SO UGLY. I can't stand it. I want the old 2000's layout back lol

Also I definitely didn't ask my wife for neopets shirts from hot topic for Christmas

I didn't even notice it was junior's sizing. Not about to measure myself to see if any would fit and depress myself about how much I've changed during quarantine, lol.
