I'm leaning more towards being happy that they are adding security questions, but can see how it would be annoying if you aren't on top of keeping and organizing all of your account information.

Hmmmm, I can see this being useful, security questions are always a nice alt option to do stuff like pass reset, I wonder if they will be needed for logging in after being gone a long time, like they currently do with bdays.

If it really ends up being a feature that helps keep your account safe, I agree that this would be for our benefit. I am worried that the answers to these security questions might be stored in plain text (like pw were, or are), and there would be no point in having them...
Also agree with @(you need an account to see links) and @(you need an account to see links) on the fact that this might only complicate account restoration. In addition it would make sense to think of different questions with different answers for each of your accounts and that will be very confusing. I guess a solution to that would be to keep a material notebook with all your un/pw/questions/answers.
i'll definetly feel safer about secured accounts when they implement that, all of them i've had for 2+ years but still feel insecure in them.
i'm here for it, just hope they dont ask for it everytime you login

I definitely like the added security (and honestly, Neopets is quite slow on the uptake when it comes to fortifying account security) but agree that with how inane and stupid their support staff is, I can see this getting out of hand when trying to legitimately claim your account back. :s Well fingers crossed!

That's good they're trying to add this, I just don't like how security questions are like case sensitive usually? so sometimes i don't remember what case i used or if i put a space or not
I think it's lazy. They should have 2-factor authorization or a QR code you can scan with your cell phone to log in rather than a Security Question. Let me guess, it's still not encrypted either.
