[Guide] How to unlock and care for a Ryugotchi + Ryu Master List (inc. non-actives)

So I got my first ever Ryu (yay!) but it evolved into.. a flower? *scrunches face*
Is there any possible way to get a different/cuter morph?

Every few weeks (I can't remember exactly but I think it's somewhere between 20-30 days for evolution cycles) if you have evolutions on, there's a chance your ryu will jump back into an egg and either emerge as the next stage of the evolution line or something completely different. Iirc there's a higher chance to continue along your branch the higher your care stars are, so while it's not a great idea to intentionally neglect your ryu, dropping your care stars before evolution time might help force a branch hop?

This! Though I think Bat did say that intentionally neglecting your Ryu will hinder your likelihood of evolving in the future? :o

Thank you for the help! I've never been terribly good at keeping my plants alive in real life, but I still feel a twinge of guilt for neglecting the poor little pixel.

Not at all! It's all RNG so there's always a chance someone will get something that isn't their favorite. Maybe you can try offering to trade your flower Ryu to someone else on the (you need an account to see links) thread?

That's honestly such a good idea!! Since earning a specific scene / paint / ryu could take ages otherwise

Speaking of paints tho, I just unlocked the green & black flannel Just missing the red & black flannel and the diamond paint now

To be honest, I'm still a little lost on how paints/scenes are attained. I stumbled upon Moon Blossoms somehow which is certainly very pretty, but how do I go about unlocking some of the other scenes/paints? What is luck and how do I utilize it?
