[Guide] How to unlock and care for a Ryugotchi + Ryu Master List (inc. non-actives)

HI!
I got the Tiki Totem bg but I'm unsure how I unlocked it. HERE IS WHAT I KNOW:

- I did not purchase a succulent or any other plant and provide PoP to the mods.
- I have not killed any house plants within the last 30 days that I'm aware of.

- I DID quote parts of the song "in the jungle" song, in caps.
- I DID ouga chaka from the Hooked On A Feeling song.
- Anything else I dont remember because I have a memory of a NATtiee. apologies ladies and gents.

Aww man I'm so jealous! I got an ordinary Ryu again I don't want to neglect it to get a cat though lol

I forgot to turn on babyistting while I was on a plane all day, down to zero hearts, I am terrible parent. ;-;

Okay, so this felt like a really close call and I had been keeping babysitting off due to my own interpretations of interactions and luck, but just got this helpful tidbit from @(you need an account to see links) �

If you have the babysitting option enabled, then interaction with others is counted towards your Ryugotchi's health.
Babysitting keeps Ryugotchis alive.

To add on to the surprises, @(you need an account to see links) has also confirmed that he will try to add relationships for the ryus as well!

I'll work on relationships. I can promise nothing else.

I think actually it was mentioned the tiki and the dot muncher are randomly awarded through feeding/playing with your ryu.

i tried to look through the posts earlier but got super distracted. i haven't found the direct mention of the tiki totem while skimming (miss lots of stuff tho), however, I came across this by Bat:

The "Dot Muncher" scene actually has the same constraints as the "Cavernous", "Deserted" and "Surf's Up" scenes! There's a one in four chance you'll unlock "Dot Muncher" when you meet the right criteria, and if you've already unlocked some of those scenes, then your chances increase accordingly.

could the tiki totem be possibly manually awarded? are any of them manually awarded? is that something we should rule out or keep in the loop bc there are lots of them and the possibility that 1 is manual.. idk floating thoughts.

The painteriffic one is manually awarded. The Tiki Totem one was confirmed to be part of the random ones, but had been inactive.
