Tell that cat to get a job!

My cat is just not all there. She turns around in the litter box and sticks her ass out the front when she craps, so it hits the floor. Then she thinks she is so smart by flinging the kitty litter out of the box to cover up her stenchy shit. That is not how this works. Now I gotta pick up your shit and the 8 million pieces of kitty litter that you flung down the hallway.
    No treats for you.

That is so cool! Of my two cats one figured out how to open the doors at home by simply looking at us, we never even thought of training her to do that. Somehow she figured out the door handle needs to be pressed down so she started jumping on it, clinging herself on the handle and if she manages to hit it near the end, her weight presses the handle down and the door is open. So she can go wherever she pleases. The other cat apparently decided the way to open the doors is to sit next to a door and start meowing. Then the first cat will come and open the door for her. That works most of the time
This second cat, by the way, does exactly what @(you need an account to see links) 's cat does - she somehow manages to poo outside the box. At least then she tries to cover the poo by scrathing the wall tiles instead of flinging cat litter but well, this doesn't help with the smell...

My dog, on the other hand, was perfectly able to sit on hind paws and open the door by pressing the handle with a front paw, she was an Irish Setter. But no, never in her life she's tried it. Even when the cat started doing it. My dog was just scratching the door with a paw to make noise so we can hear that she wants to go in or out and open the door for her. I must say this also worked...
