WOW! Surprised they got it really close I'm from Los Angeles, CA, born & raised.
Just returning to say that I posted this on my FB and my friend list is getting a kiiiiiick out of it. Seems pretty darn accurate.
ALSO, my roommate took it twice and got New Orleans both times (her hometown). She got different questions than I did, so I took it a 2nd time to get different questions (which, I did! So if you are extra bored see if it hits the nail on the head multiple times lol). Apparently there are a few different questions floating around. Anyway, I ~still~ got Baltimore (my hometown). It's neat how accurate this is for myself, her, and most everyone I've seen so far out of my friends XD

Interesting quiz. They got the right state. Wrong area though. Very cool.

Thought I would give this a go being from Canada just for some shits and giggles. I am silly though and messed up copying my map to share but I matched best with Minnesota Alaska and Honolulu. I still question the Honolulu match though lol.
This was actually a lot of fun to do! And it's spot-on with the dark red in northern Pennsylvania- that's where I'm from!

This is really interesting as someone who isn't American, and has never been to America, but is told I borrow some American pronunciations and "Americanisms" because I heard mostly American shows, songs, and movies growing up (such is life when you haven't got friends and aren't close to your family xD). I am Scottish, with Scottish parents (from the Glasgow-ish area), and my language is definitely mostly Scottish influenced, but grew up in New Zealand for 21 years and always swapped between vernaculars and accents depending on who I was speaking to (funny when you answer your phone to speak to your parents surrounded by New Zealanders who have never heard your real accent). The funny thing is that no matter where I've been I've been told that I either sound "posh" or "like an old woman" because of how my accent is softened and the words that I picked up from reading a lot as a kid and watching a lot of tv and movies (as well as studying other languages). As someone who doesn't drive there were a few questions I was just clueless about in general because I don't think or talk about roads except to think about feeling motion sick xD
So Most similar are apparently... New York, Yonkers, and Boston.
Least similar are apparently... Akron, Pittsburgh, and Columbus.
But either way most of the map is at least a little warm.
I'm also surprised cling-film, sticky tape, sticky plaster, and linoleum never came up.

This was super fun to do!!
English is my second language but I used to live in US for some time and I was super curious if this would work or not.. Two of my top three cities are from the same state as where I was. Awesome!
