Anyway I'm with @(you need an account to see links) here. I'd rather engage with the community in hopes of maybe randomly unlocking a popsicle than sitting in front of an empty page and refreshing it (though I do think that generated page is very cool. The coolness just wears off very fast imo).
There might be another solution to the void than pure randomness - but before starting the script I spent at least ~2 hours inspecting every nook of the page source code and the weird scripts in it etc. Is it possible that I missed the actual solution? ofc. But it stopped being fun for me very fast, and seeing other people getting it after a few refreshes or on their first try (without even knowing how they did that aside from refreshing) was pretty frustrating. So I resorted to using a script, and honestly I don't see what's wrong with that.

Weren't you the first to suggest using an auto-refresher? Lol

We don't encourage it, so please don't. Being a Neopets forum providing these fun features for you, we thought someone might recognize some of the lingo on the page and realize it could be similar to another feature in the actual game.

Aside from "cheating" your way to get the bar, we really don't want you to unknowingly get yourself flagged or even banned from our CDN service and ultimately blocked not only here but across other sites that are served by CloudFlare... Won't be able to help you if this happens.

Also consider that this isn't really going to go anywhere, given the mechanics and page that has been put together for it. You have all the time in the world to eventually unlock it. Does it have to be immediate? Spoils the fun, IMHO.

If you're interested in engaging the community, then go for it! There would be more rewards for participation if there was more genuine participation, instead of just posts to introductions threads for a userbar, posts to the count to 100,000 thread for a userbar, posts to the userbar unlocking thread discussing how to unlock userbars, posts to under your skin for drama, posts to giveaway threads for freebies, etc. There is a vastly disproportionate amount of activity centered around incentives as it is. If this community could dig a little deeper and bring in more activity without staff endorsement, then we'd definitely reward that.
