I got two pops earlier today though, but I don't believe I used the @ function either.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that I've gotten it on older posts without a mention too?
I will still say though that I had like... several weeks without a popsicle and then the two yesterday and today (mostly a lot of activity with the ditto and popsicle hunting, so might just be a coincidence)

I also think that I have gotten a couple today without @ at anyone. I actually think the post I have @ someone I never got a popsicle although I have been quoting!

It's the last day of summer, so the chances are dramatically increased. Shame that nobody's using the secret tricks though. Y'all would be swimmin' in ice pops if you'd just crack that secret.

I unlocked three popsicles in the past 24 hours, all on threads I either hadn't posted on in a very long time (Community Feedback) and two I had never posted on before (weird habits thread and the melodic UB thread). I didn't quote or @ anyone either time that I can recall.

I do remember that my Tigertail and pink were also unlocked on topics I had never posted on prior, and I also did not quote or @ anyone, just did a usual drive by of dumping my random thoughts into the thread

I just got blue by posting to a thread I had never posted to before!
Though right after that I tried with another thread and did not get another, though it may make sense that I wouldn't be able to get back to back popsicle posts?
