I noticed that too... unless you did not have a purple or blue one before this post

I do think it must be keyword related, at least for some of them. A few pages back I posted some information regarding my own unlocks and the unlocks of some other users, but I noticed one user unlocked one after using a ton of heat-related words in their post (including quoted words from other users). As far as mine go, I noticed that I got my pink one after posting on multiple different sections of the forums including a user profile So I think there may be different requirements for different colors...

i like the multiple places theory! nobody says you have to post on it's summertime board! got purple on day 1 and blue today, could it be a 1 only per day?

It's def not one per day as multiple people have gotten like up to three in one day, and Hollow unlocked 2 at exactly the same time!
