Secret Userbars Thread (Unlocking quests!)

If you're displaying the melodic userbar, then somebody else playing your melody into your userbar might unlock the userbar for themselves. The melody that unlocks the userbar must be played into the userbar it came from. The only way to know which userbar that is, is to try as many as you can. The person whose melody unlocks the userbar is randomly chosen.

I see. I thought that if I've made a melody it could've only been listened to from my own userbar. So basically if I put in a melody, it might be sounded in other displayed melodic bars?

Your melody is only played in your melodic userbar. If your melody was randomly chosen to be the one that unlocks the userbar for someone else, then they'd have to replay it directly into your userbar to unlock.

So, anyone who has the melodic userbar active, might suddenly have a different, random melody than the ones they've input, and that is the one you need to play to get the bar?

You need to play the current melody in the selected UB, it will be the one recorded by the UB owner at that time; saying if it is Flor's UB, you need to play Flor's melody; if Kitty's UB, Kitty melody and so

oooh how interesting; so if i understand correctly for the melodic userbar:

- the person's melody that will unlock the userbar for you is random (so just playing anyone's melody won't unlock it for you, you need to play a specific person's melody)
- you must play the owner of the userbar's melody into their userbar
- there is a leniency on input timing so you don't need to play as fast as the melody you're replicating
- there is a small popup on the bottom right of the userbar you need to click to unlock the bar

i wonder if the melody you need to replicate ever changes after a certain amount of time?

it's like a melodic hunt for which user's melody will get you the bar!
