The melody has to be played into the userbar of the person whose melody was randomly chosen. Playing one person's melody into another person's userbar won't work.

So you need to find everyone that is displaying the bar and then play the person's song right that has been selected.

The melody chosen can be from any user that is currently displaying the melodic userbar, regardless of whether or not they've logged in recently.

I dont think there is a way to see everyone that is displaying it you just have to search. Best bet is the music treat

If you're displaying the melodic userbar, then somebody else playing your melody into your userbar might unlock the userbar for themselves. The melody that unlocks the userbar must be played into the userbar it came from. The only way to know which userbar that is, is to try as many as you can. The person whose melody unlocks the userbar is randomly chosen.
