Honestly the HOURS I must have spent on those dang boards. It literally took months. I remember even getting lent FQD was a major feat for little ole kid me without a penny to my name, people guarded their avatar items so closely and deigned to hand them out like a king to a peasant lmaoooo

Right?? You had to have a certain amount of collat, a certain amount of avatars, you had to have this that and the other thing... nowadays, people just hand them out as long as you're not a jerk

Yay, I got my new one! Gotta adjust my stack again now, switch up my Pokemon to get a nice red and green color scheme going :0 (only ruined by that darn newbie bar, one of these days...)

I think you might not be able to unlock more than 2 a day... or there is like a waiting period. You cant unlock all at once

It's explained in a thread linked on the first post of this thread, but short story is that it's about reputation, not time. I've been here since 2019 and still have newbie because I struggle to contribute solidly sometimes :')

The newbie bar/rank is tied to your number of posts and amount of reputation points received. I can't remember at the moment if account age is a factor, too.

You need 25+ rep for it to go away, and it will turn into "clraik"!
